Spring?

My apologies first to Ben for putting that silly hat on Andrew

(couldn't find his regular hat that day)

and then to Ami for totally blocking Everleigh's face in this

picture, but it was my first attempt since last fall in

taking out the double stroller.  So I had to wait til they

were both reasonably awake, get them in the stroller

with sippy cups and treats, then

out of the apartment, down the elevator and then reload

both of them by putting on jackets, caps and a blanket.

Also making sure I had my cell phone, the building keys

and the camera.

Then strapping them both in, getting my own coat and

gloves on and all of us out the apartment lobby (2 double

doors).  Then walk far enough out to get a quick photo.

Then I realized when I looked at the photo that while it

was close to 50 degrees that day, there is still a snowbank

in the backround which makes it look like some kind of

child abuse.  Honestly, 2 days before this the whole yard

and parking lot were covered in a foot of snow!  So this

was a mild day!  We didn't go that far...around a couple of city

blocks....just enough to help me gain some confidence

in getting all of us out the door when warmer weather

does arrive.  By the way, since that day, we had about 8 inches

of new snow and it has stayed cold so no new ventures out yet.

But spring is coming...I promise!
