It's a boy!

Baby Swenson arrived at 11:43 pm on Fri, May 7. After 28 hours

of contractions, the decision was made to do a C-section. Jesse had

worked hard all day and night and was exhausted, running a fever

and not fully dilated so they were prepared for this outcome.

Ben was in the OR with her and I was close by with lots of

prayers. I think you'll agree he was worth the wait. He

is perfect, his parents are exhausted but happy and his

grandparents are thrilled. He doesn't have a name yet

but they're working on it. He is in the nic-u (newborn intensive

care unit) as Jesse had a fever when he was born so

they were erring on the side of caution in case he has

an infection. But he is doing well and as you can see, so are Jesse

and Ben. Welcome to our world, little one!
